Good work there dude.
But is it possible to add:
1. Clock
2. Gear Indicator

I know this needs extreme modding..but just asking whether its possible...

No in the existing console you cannot add anything else, whatever mods you may do

It will include making a whole new chip etc....

The program is fed into the semiconductor chip and lcd displays only what is given to it

However you can add external clock, that's easy

Unfortunately the whole Speedo Console is single unit. Things like Face plate and even the glass cover is not available seperately.

But if you ask me, I would prefer a white face plate any day. Why? Well you can have two tone backlit. Where the white area can be illuminated in say blue and the digits in red.

As Omi said, It's not possible. Better buy a 3rd Party Speedo Unit with such features and then do the required mods.

It's the camera.. stupid cell phone cam. Indicator is fine.

Try popping the needle with fingers, holding the black part... it should pop out. I don't think the needle is fragile enough to break that easily.

De-soldering can be done with pump and wick.

the digital panel for most of the bikes in india is/are manufactured by the same supplier(s) so it is possible to do the same mods for the RTR, but connectors & power terminal positions might differ due to the PCB size/shape, one needs to double check the connections before doing that.....the LED can be changed.

@all, please correct me if i am wrong.

the Tacho needle it seems is fixed on RTR meter . i did not apply too much force as it felt fragile . i also accidently broke a resistor [not sure what it is ] , i'm sure the meter now is kaput . thankfully i have warranty left

now i'l just change it to a RTR180 meter and get the cool blue Lcd +white tacho
