Converted my RTR 160 FI in full DC after rewinding the coil with 19 SWG wire and also installed new ape rr. The o/p ampere shown by RR ( yellow of RR and -ve of battery for measuring ampere) is around 3.5 to 4amps. Although the voltage measurement across battery varies from 13V to 15V.
But the problem arises after the conversion, rr unit installed gets too hot after running the bike for few kms and also malfunction light ( fuel pump light) light up after starting the bike and indicating an problem with FI system.
Experts plz shed some light on this.

Hello prateek, done it all by myself, most of the things are simple except coil rewinding with 19 SWG wire. Installed new RR and connected lighting circuit to battery temporarily ( w'out relay), now only proper routing of wires for lighting circuit is left( with relay).
Although i am going to test the system's charging rate for some days and also try to solve the issues facing with it because of FI system of the bike.

Waah waah, Lets see when we can meet to discuss this further. My main problem is that I have projector + HID + Angel eye setup , any changes might effect those.
