Of the Bikers, By the Bikers, For the Bikers
Hey bro, how are you..? nice modifications..,one needs to have guts to modify a new bike..looks great
hey ananz... congratulations.
glad you finally completed the mod. looks really nice in black.
waiting to see it once you've added on the finishing touches.
you can actually get rid of that gap by getting rid of the shroud around the pulsar speedo.
you don't need it really... i've used mine for over a year now.
it's been thru a through bombay monsoon too...
so if it's "water seeping into ur speedo console" ur worried about...
not to worry... u won't have any issues.
once u remove the shroud... u'll need to open the speedo console (carefully)
and drill a four holes in the back of the console plastic to allow u to mount the console
onto the R15 stay (that is the metal piece the welder is holding in the 5th pic)... that way... the gap disappears.
P.S: i've been planning on repainting my bike... one of my options was an
airbrush paintjob that would coincide with the Transformers 3 movie release.
SideSwipe!
i've had this mod on my bike for just over a year now... not had ANY heating issues.

Suggestion : get rid of the rear mud guard and install the p135 one instead the rear will look sporty and will get a good view of the tyre. Also get rid of the saaree guard.
@xionite : why are Mumbaikers worried about water seeping into their speedos. ive seen people riding their bikes with those plastic covers on the console, no one in Pune does it and our speedos work just fine. Looks like a gimmick by sellers of these plastic covers hehe.

Nice Work Ananz. I still remember how eagerly you were looking for yamaha parts. Good to see your hard work shaping into a neat mean machine.
Cheers
nice work dude,
suggestions from my side.
U can remove the saree guard.
Make it all black including the silencer.
U can add radium strips to go with the angel eyes headlamps.
i had seen a karizma with r15 fairing in mumbai, done pretty neat. this looks cool too. liked the projector head lamps. worth the money
looks good mate.....you have put in quite a lot of effort....![]()
