Well written as always...!

PS: I read it somewhere that the Pulsars design\development was to be done jointly with Cagiva and then for some reasons it didnt take off. Nevertheless the design does look very similar to the Cagiva Raptor

PPS: Waiting for the next gen Pulsars... with the learnings from the past decade or so and stake with KTM and Kawasaki, I am sure we will see a world class Bajaj soon!

Amazing write up... Makes me feel so proud to be a pulsar Fanboi

Proud Pulsarian since 2003 ...

2003 - 2007 Pulsar 180 UG1
2007 - present 220 FI

What caught my attention was the date - October 2001... Which means we can expect the highly anticipated big Pulsar in October 2011... Tenth Anniversary celebrations...?

Nice writeup. Though hh cbz was the first 150cc+ bike, it was the pulsar which really set the fire in this segment! The other manufactures were forced to enter in 150cc & above segment, thanks to pulsar which had really up the ante by then.
