Default pulsar 220f hidden facts

Hello all ,Dyno Test on wheel Pulsar 220 produces real Power 19hp !!. Who does not like motor racing. Although life is at stake, when adrenaline is high. Just in front of the motorcycle must surpass the opponent. As we noted earlier, providing Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-i. Bike that has the tagline “Motor for those who like fast” powered 21ps. This figure is the manufacturer claims. what if the test using dyno?. yes, The Dyno test has doing by Mototech – Dyno Centro and Motorcycle Research support

In the test, the result is not 21 hp. dyno test several times and reached 18.9, 19, 19.1 and back to 18.9. so the conclusion of the pulsar 220 power is only 19 hp .. standard conditions without any changes. according to its owner is indeed reasonable because the factory gauge power on crank, and if the wheels must be changed to deviate. maximum deviation of the normal reply is 10-20% of the factory claims. if more than it, maybe the engine is problematic. so? 19 hp distorted claims about 10% of the factory claim is still normal, … The Dyno results arguably pretty good. Because the deficit is only about 2 hp

This condition is different from the Honda CBR250R, and Kawasaki Ninja250R who have deficits of up to 4 hp, Wow, What do you think?? Hope usefull

Ninja 250 makes some 26.9 bhp. GT makes some 26.3. So, its slightly more than 10% loss.
This is the graph presented:

But are you sure the site is reliable?

Because the same site quotes that R15 will have ABS and non-ABS versions (1-1.3 Lacs INR) and will be shown in 2012 Auto Expo.
And their information source?? A confidential e-mail sent by Yamaha to ********** site!!

********** is one of the most unreliable sources on the net. And this overstroke site has used them as source.

Some one in the forum had done dyno run on his P220 before doing some engine mods and it was measured as 18.9bhp. I still remember that.

Check this p220 MOD done by an xBhpian. He clearly mentioned it as 18.9Bhp before doing mods. Guess both of these are same.

The hidden fact is that bajaj claims it to be 21.04 hp but in reality it only churns 18.9 hp. I personally feel that may be quite possible because i have raced with stock 220f's numerous times with my stock zma after midnight on western express highway and believe me couple of the times they have been ahead of me by just 10 or 15 meters or it was otherwise. I don't intend to offend any 220f owners but i hate the hype created on the net like "a kari guy would not even see a 220's tail lamp", "karizma is no match for a 220" and things on the same lines. I really hate when information on the internet criticizes a karizma for what she doesn't even deserve. I respect 220f a lot and i accept that it is powerful than a karizma. I have ridden it many a times and i love the power band in the first three gears. I dont wanna start a brand war and request all you members to please not misunderstand whatever i have posted above.

21 claimed and 19 real is actually damn good.

The ZMA was also tested on the dyno a few years back on the dyno here in BLR, and it was some 14 bhp!!!

To be precise it claimed 18.9 hp which isn't bad however zma with 14 hp would sound good if had some evidence of that test
