Default K&N POWER for ZMA!!!! Dont miss this.

hi guys,
i had posted topics about K&n filters, how they increase performance, how the filter's life increases and the ingear performance are improvd as well,
I bought the filter 2 days ago and was very exited and got it fit. i took the bike out and was heart broken. vehicle was jerking at 6000-7000 rpm, dint go above 95k and was struggling in all gears as though the fuel supply was cut off.I went back removed the box which covers the filter and rode again, TOP SPEED - 120-122, PICKUP - SLUGGISH, but the 30 to 100kmph was monstorous and belive it or nt guys, The bike sounded like an RD!!!! not al that loud but somethimg like that. I was not happy because of the pickup and had to slip the clutch to get somthng close to what the bike was like before. I was studying the bike for 2 days,
I showd it to my service engineer and he rode and told me the same thing that the bike had lost its intital grunt, I had got the filter fitted outside,
There was a problem- the Bike comes with a company fitted square air filter and the one i had fitted was conical and though it fit perfectly it was drawing too much air and the fuel delivery was not adequate for the air being drawn by the K&n filter. i had fitted a non stock filter as the bike has not been provided by the stock K&N.tHE mechanic told me he needs to modify the filter covering box and i asked him to go ahead.
I went to my mechanic at hh(sai motors) b'lore, today mrning. and left the bike and asked him to correct the air fuel supply and tune the bike to give thicker fuel mixture for the K&n's intake.
I picked up the bike 2 hrs ago and now i am a happy guy..... THE BIKE DOES A 100 KM WITHIN 11 SECS TOP SPEED IS 140-145KMPH(speedo read) The top speed was attained by 2 enginners in the show room , and while bringing the bike i manged a 130-135k and so did my friend, bike's sounds is muted compared to before but still sounds like a little RD.. but performance is amazing guys..... Filter cost is around 1.9k. Guys in banglore who are intrested can msg me to my inbox. I can help u to get the filters, and help u in carry out the tuning mods. contact is 9886131747.
there is amazing difference as i comopared the show room zma to mine and the 0-100k ,my bike is 2-3 secs faster than showroom bike.
HOPE U GUYS DISCUSS ABOUT THIS, I will help the guys in b'lore , guys in other cities we can probably send the filters to u too as it available nly in b'lore>
NOTE: i have carried out voltage mod on my bike acc to vittal ,who had posted the article.and the bike used to perform well b'fore.
Happy Jetsettin guys............

thts nice red rage njoy ur ride. hmmm the engine cud hav been restricting coz the filter u put must hv been small,by small i mean of insufficient size with respect to ur carb, hv experienced this on octanes 180 during speed run 2004,also as u said ur air fuel mixture cud had been incorrect coz k&n filters allow to breathe a lot of air than the stock airbox.

Posting on behalf of redrage
I have two disadvantages
1) 2km mileage drop
2) Max. power developed at around 8k rpm (seems to be strained)

K&N filters at max change the impact by 4% but if you own a zma i guess you wont be bothered about the 2 grand only
