bunny well if u have read about a guy who did banglore to bombay on fiero in 11hr 45min avg speed of 89km/hr over 1050km. ... I think that proved already about the reliability of the bike .... and from my exp on that road to maintain an avg speed of 89 u have to be flat out all the way. From my exp on the recent ride I was riding between 80-100 most of the time on empty roads over 96km and I managed a avg speed of only 72.

And regarding the comfort level ... well those guys were riding for just 2hrs and then taking a long break .... trust me 2hrs is nothing .. the real trouble starts when u r riding the bike for hrs and hrs ... non stop.

Also I think they should have tried to set the records on the road, this bike will be ridden on ... with pot holes, speed breakers, cross winds, etc to see how the bike behaves on the real track.

yesterday i got a chance to drive Karizma. Bike's performance is really superb. And the size is quite big. when u are on the road then u are really center of attraction. this was a yellow color bike. looks cool.

I do think some other bikes like the CBZ and Fiero are as reliable as the Karizma , and in terms of engine life , I do think the CBZ engine will be better than Karizma's .

This is coz the the CBZ's piston speed is lower than the Karizma's , thanks to the Karizma's long stroke , and so is the compression ratio . And doesn't the Karizma seem jetted too lean ?

I'm sure the Karizma will easliy handle normal roads as well as I did on the test track. It has a very good aero-dynamic shape and good wieght to handle cross-winds and stuff, its got great suspension mechanisms to handle pot-holes and bad roads, and a great engine to take all the stress.

u right buddy,go over a rough patch of road on a pulsar and do the same wid the karizma and u will come to know d difference.the difference in suspension, smoothness of engine,stress-free engine, pulling power at low rpm.i keep going wid sajeev (kaku, balck p180 wid 140 rear duro).we xchange our bikes and we both feel the difference in d above mentioned things
