Hero Honda launches facelifted variants of Glamour, Glamour FI and electric start CD Deluxe

India's largest two-wheeler maker Hero Honda has introduced three new variants of its commuter bikes priced between Rs 35,800 and Rs 55,450 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Sticking to the firm's 'New Look' models Hero Honda is launching new face-lifted versions of two of its 125cc motorcycles - Glamour and Glamour Fi. The two-wheeler maker has also introduced electric start variant of CD Deluxe - the 100cc commuter bike.

Anil Dua, Sr. Vice-President - Hero Honda Motors told the media that, though this has been a difficult year for the two-wheeler industry, Hero Honda has been able to keep sales momentum going. The three new bikes are an extension of what the firm has been doing to keep the market interest alive.

The new variants of Glamour will be available between Rs 45,800 and Rs 47,700 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Glamour Fi variants will be priced between Rs 51,450 and Rs 55,450 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The CD Deluxe will be available in four trim levels priced between Rs 33,700 and Rs 36,900.

The new introductions are a part of the company's plans to introduce 12 models in a span of 18 months, of which eight have been launched already. Expect four more Hero Honda launches till September 2009.
There's a printing mistake in the above highlighted line. It should have been Expect four more Stickers from Hero Honda till September 2009.

Anyway the story is on the Bike India website and given below is the source

What news do we have on the TVS Menace 180???

I am still in dilemma whether to get the FZ or wait...

At least pictures would suffice to create a menace.

@Drift: Autos Maxabout has only suggested an expected price. I have already spoken to Probiking showroom guys more than once. Please check my previous posts.
As for the Honda 100-150cc bike, it has already been launched. It was the Stunner. Please go through the previous posts on this thread. Also, confirm whether articles on the web are genuine&latest (by order of date) or not. Speculations also keep changing with time!

The Honda CBR1000RR is expected to cost 10 lakh and upward and will be directly pitted against the Yamaha YZF-R1 and the Suzuki Hayabusa.
Honda 100-150 cc bike will be launched in 2009 before fiscal end

Honda also plans to launch a mass market motorcycle with engine capacity between 100-150 cc. This bike will be a commuter with a frugal engine, similar to the Honda Shine.
CBR1000rr is a superbike and the Busa is a Hyperbike. We Indians, who buy superbikes are not foolish to take the bait that CBR1000 against Busa.Honda must bring their Hyperbike that is the other bike VFR.They are launching it with only 800.That is a sure hyperbike with the V5 1000cc engine.New engine production not risked due to econo meltdown. This not an exciting news for non track enthusiast.

It takes a minute to reach to insane levels of news reporting... be it 'national news' or xBHP

I spoke to one of the love-hate friends in Yamaha India, he says there are ONLY cosmetic upgrades due to both R15 and the FZ from Yamaha stables...
From Bajaj friends they are very hus hush about stuff... no news about Ninja... but I really like the Hush Hush behaviour that they are following... makes me go crazy with my imagination....

No people from TVS, Suzuki in my friend lists .. yet... but the rumour of a Suzuki 'sports' 250 has been around for a while...

With that I guess its time to lock the topic
