Semi naked fairing fixed type-this should be interesting to see. They claim it will give the look of a faired as well as naked bike. How is that possible?

You seem to have quite a bit of info eh..

I am more intrested in knowing what the R15 will get, I just hope a tail piece and some stuff (am guessing new colour schemes)

Will talk to him after the new year and take an update..

Thats not from me, my friend-ask Drift_Unlimited!

As for the R15 upgrade, I think its too early to start speculating that. Reason: I spoke to one of the Japanese guys (I know Japanese too) who had come down for the launch of FZ at Hyderabad. I tried hinting to him to change the rear tyre, put in a tyre hugger, powder coat the rims, LED tail etc., but he just smiled and said "Maybe in the next upgrade". When I asked him when can we expect that, he said "Donno, maybe in 2 or 3 years".
So, I think nothing new from Yamaha next year, expect a scooter probably.

The cosmetic updates were set to be rolled out by Q4 to further boost sales ... so thats like Jan-Mar 09.. Not too far mate...

Really? I thought that cosmetic stuff were the Yamaha official apparel&accesories. They're all launched for the R15, and coming soon for the FZ. I doubt if they would consider upgrading the model, even cosmetic, within less than a year for the R15&6 months or so for the FZ!

Your Japanese must be really good to be able to say all that!

Thanks Dada, I can read, write&speak Japanese almost as fluently as a Japanese. Have been to Japan also twice. Maybe going sometime soon again to ogle at the bikes there!

Great! Kudos to you.

I really do not know how to say tyre huggers or powder coated rims even in my mother tongue, Bengali!!!
