In that case, the '08 model is carbed&the '09 model is fuel injected. There is a price difference of 500$ too. So will he be giving discount to the first 200 customers?

@r15rocks
today i went to the probiking centre again. The official there said that initially the bikes were supposed to be launched during december this year. But it has been preponed to june-july(confirmation yet to come).
The first 200 units would be FI as well although that would be 2008 models.(i wonder how that is possible)
And i think that this would end the speculations in this thread guys about the baby ninja which is priced at........ 2 LAKHS (yes you read it right), when i asked him whether it would go up to 2.50 he said not beyond 2.10 . I thought that guy was joking but when i asked it again he said the price was confirmed on the letter from BAJAJ.
Will the fight for the most awaited 250 begin now???

Thanks a lot turbo! If it is 2.10, I'll be ready with the cash even before they officially announce! (read saving complete salary).
Fi is good news. Wonder how they can price it so low in-spite of importing as a CBU!
Now the golden question: Is 2.10 the on-road price or ex-showroom!
Why do you say most awaited 250? Yammie's 250 is just a rumor as of now!

I was searching for information on this bike, and what I have found that, both 2008/09 models dont have FI!. Is there any link which says that Ninja 250 has FI?

The main difference between US and European model since 2008 is, the later one is fuel injected
