Have a look at it. Single mill 21bhp, I will NOT pay INR 2.5L for this!

+100! Lol! If the R15 performance kit comes, it would make 22 ps atleast. Better to spend 20K on that IMO.

P.S. Dada, Its nice having you on this thread.

Hmmm. I missed the part where it was 'speculated' 2.5L!

I was thinking more along the lines of R15 price territory, maybe a tad more.

I would buy the 'speculated' Ninjette instead!

This place is my daily dose of 'speculopedic' medicine. One place where dreams come true instantly.

Right. If only it was so easy to extract 30% power from a single cylinder mill...

But hey, what the heck, speculation thread right?

In that case, here is the newest dream: R15&FZ are just experiments from Yamaha's side to gauge the reaction of genuine motorcyclists in India. They plan to start a new performance motorcycling era here, but gradually. If all goes well, we could be seeing an R6 in CKD/CBU form soon!

That is the speculation. Now for some real news. The FZ1 is slated for a CBU launch next month.

It has been priced at €4000 in West Europe from what I remember. Which is well over INR2.5L.

As stated in my previous post, MD of a Yamaha showroom. I will not mention the name&location.
Anyways, are you planning to buy? I can't afford it as it will certainly be above 10 lakhs.

Pity. Had it been the faired version, I would have sold my R1 and gone in for the faired Fazer.

Actually i was planning to buy a used Kawasaki 7R by july this year...but if this news is true then i'd rather wait for the R6 so that i can buy it "Brand New"...you know there is "something" about being the first person to ride your bike...
