But do you have any info abt the top speed of the bike in its 6th gear????? Have you pushed it that far yet????? The gear ratios that gives it that amazing pickup might cut it the otherway in top speeds !!!
No havent tested the top speed as I am not suppose to cross 7000 rpm before second service...... but yes once I touched 100 just to see how the bike feels, that was 7500 rpm so drove for just couple of seconds.....and the bike was as smooth as it was at 80. ......anyhow I know the bike top speed wouild not be more than 110-115 maybe coz 6th gear is not for speed but acts as an overdrive keeping the smoothness and milage intact at speed over 90.

you are right!!!
if you use speed shifting then max you can get is 118kmph whereas if you do power shifting then you can cross cross 125kmph mark(i touched 126kmph......)
rtr is 160cc so u cant compare it with our GS and for r15 so its ok..atleast our bike stands second on the list!!!!!

GS150R is the Bike Of the Year 2010.........there is no place for a second, its a First
This is the result of the group test that had RTR160-carb version too......R15(Liquid cooled,4valve) was not there,it belongs to a different category of P220,RTR180 and ZMR.

Ok you get quick pick up times and and growl on the RTR,but where is the comfort??? for long rides???
GSR has the versatile character which no other 150cc bike has.Thats why it gets full 5-star rating.

As you see maestro....my post in this thread, was from the time when I dint own a GSR,now that I own the bike,I know what it is Move up as it Drives you crazy

A great bike to own and live with

Yeah nice to see everyone all pepped up with the bikes they own.. two thumbs up..

But no need to compare with other bikes, friends. All bikes are more or less equal and give or take some features. Nothing is really bad or unreliable.

And no need to go around believe any one of these "awards" or "magazines" or "road tests". all are nice to see for pictures and the chicks that present the award.. but they're usually fixed.

Cheers homies!
