How? Now please dont yell at me, just checking... cause Fz has better power to weight ratio

GS150R
Power : 14PS
Power to Weight Ratio : 93.95
which mean weight = 149 kgs

Fz
Power : 14 PS
Power to Weight Ratio : 102.18
weight = 1337 kgs

GS150R is competing with proven horse "unicorn", Unicorn is a brand, stamp of reliability. GS150R is in tough group also because Honda has a upgrade coming soon after 5 long years.
Looks are always subjective, and rattling TVS you are talking about handles way better than the FZ's, FYI, handling come into consideration in corners not in straight line..

150 is no longer remained performance segment. It started out with performance and now it had ended up being stickered/ economised/ subsidised output et all.
Now , only some new techs in small engines like Yam has done with R15 will succeed the war. But again that too is pricey so in India domestic companies like HH, H ,Bajaj will able to sell their engines. All thanks to Pulsars twins that made up the whole market of performance bikes. Today an bikes age is almost 2 yrs after which either the company kills it or give few touches. Look what is done with Pulsar 150 cc. Every now and then sme tweeking is going on...kabhi silencer black kar diya toh kabhi digital speedo.
Engine does an pivotial role but not long. Honda still giving simple engines and sharing with HH. HH going gaga over the trusted/ loyal customer base. And Yamaha has shread the ice in 150cc. Lets c this GS150 ? I think it will b accepted by India an new Fiero. WHy didnt they launch this bike as FIERO GSX? it would hav created an huge rift.

Even if RTR is better than Fz according to you, its not according to me, cause i used it for more than 2 months and i didnt like it one bit, it just vibrates like crazy and lots of tappet noise from day one

Well, that speaks volumes about the public perception of this product, doesn't it?

There's actually nothing wrong with the bike. And that's the whole problem. It's just... too right. Too safe. It's like a guy from middle management. Get's the job done without any complaints, but nobody remembers his last name.

P.S. let's try to keep this civil, guys. Honest opinions are well and good, but I trust y'all know where to draw the line.

Exactly, and could it be the not so good brand image created by Zeus & Heat that has lead to this?

The Unicorn din't have this kind of a slow response in the market at the time it was launched. Could the "Honda" brand be the only reason?

There could be many reasons to this. My take is: not a well designed marketing strategy. Look at HH, Bajaj, Yamaha or TVS rolling out ads, or pre-product ads. I don't see it from Suzuki.

Where are the big banners roadside? Come to think of it, I never even saw it for Zeus or Heat. Is it that Suzuki just wants to focus on scoots?
