Default My revamped cbz

Hey guyz, i've jus finished modding my cbz,and it looks cool..
although appearance is cool,my engine lacks refinement.
it has few probs, can u ppl help me out??
1--my bike starts vibrating at 60kmph(5k rpm) in 5th gear and it gradually
builds up and vibrates hard at 9k rpm.i've tried motul 3000,castrol power 1
activ, shell, but its still the same,so oil is not the prob here,i change the oil
regularly for every 2000kms.how do i cut the vibrations???
2--bike has very low torque in at 2-3k rpm in2nd gear, its very sluggish and
i get engine knocks wen startin from rest in 2nd gear.
3--i use HP air filter,i didn upjet yet, shopkeeper said its not neccessary to
upjet tis filter, its only for k&n filters i've to upjet. also he said upjetting
might spoil my carb.but when i ride for 30kms continuously or when i rip
engine gets heated badly nd i can smell the burn. what do i do about it??
my bike has done 56000kms and has an electric start.
guyz shed some light on these probs, and any good mech for cbz in chennai??

here are my bike's pix

Vibration might be caused by the mounting rubber gone bad, but it might also be caused by some clutch problem. does CBZ have a clutch balancer like the Pulsar? if yes then check that also.

As far as the HP filter goes, have you atleast retuned the carb for more fuel flow? I still recomend a rejet, if dont want to do it then at least increase your fuel flow.

@kunjalsingh: dude, awsome Exhaust. what make? does it come for pulsar?

You need to upjet. Your bike is running lean.

Your bike is equipped with alloys which are heavier than spoke wheels and this would affect its road behaviour.

But somehow, a clean well maintained CBZ comes into its own after 5k rpm and till 7.5k rpm. Please get it checked from a good mechanic.

Any change in intake system would definitely affect its engine behaviour. it is an intricate subject and requires a lot of trial and error. Put on the stock filter to check the behaviour.

The bike seems to have black powder coated engine which means engine must have been taken off the frame and again bolted on the frame. Some mountings might be wrong.

@kunjalsingh--ya, i dont've those mounting rubbers in my chassis.ur bike looks great. exhaust is awesome. do u have another pic??? i cant see the engine rubbers properly.
@Bibhu--I dont know whether cbz has a clutch balancer mechanism.I havent increased the flow, its still in stock setting.I'l make the mixture rich now and see if it helps.
@Technician--I didn remove the engine off the frame, but the rubbers are not there.a mech guy said all the bolts must be removed and fixed with spring bolts. will tat help??

@karthik- dude me also having cbz 2002 model..
earlier i have also added hp filter to my bike
though it has nothing to do with that of vibrations but
it is harmful for engine as it does not prevent engine
from dust particles..... attach k&n that is rather good...

and trust me k&n is costlier but is safe for engine...
and torque is also good..

thanks bro Its a blue flame exhaust..Its looks like multicolored exhaust..Chinese Made..Its a universal exhaust can be fitted in anybike and sounds good too.

@ Kartik thanks dude. just ask the mechanic to check those rubbers and screws..i dnt have photos showing engine mounting rubber..
Updates on Kunjal’s MP Ride check this link for my bike photos.

Considering air filter i have fitted karizma's air filter..Its low in cost and its quite good..
