I would not recommend it Prabhakar. A drive chain that has been stretched to the limit could be close to fracturing a link r two within it. This would be hidden from the eye. Removing a link will allow you to use it but the weakness within could become a sudden failure any day. And you can imagine the damage a broken drive chain can do if it happens at high speed.

In short....replace your bike's drive chain with a new one along with the sprockets.

Rotate the wheel and check the slack at the point where the chain is the tightest. But please be very careful about not letting your fingers get anywhere close to either of the sprockets when rotating the wheel. I have personally seen a mechanic's finger get chopped off when caught between the chain and the sprocket.
My friends thumbs tip was chopped off while lubricating his P220's chain. After that incicent I lubricate my chain very carefully dont care how much time it will take.

the plate as indicated in the pic .. is bit loose.. /??
but its only the one side of swing arm.. the other side is okay..
so does that suggest that the chain need to be tightened.. !!

Place the plate in place and just turn the screws till the plate is fixed ...thats it.....do not overtighten. You need not to go through whole chain tightening process.

you've to loosen the axle nut only after removing that split pin. Split-Pin here is for extra protection. Once chain adjustment is done put split-pin back in place, however it seems it'll tricky to get the right rotation.
