I have installed free flow aftermarket exhaust for my Yamaha R15v1. I am feeling like my bike is pulling hard in high revs, but its performance gets depleted in low revs, In stock silencer my bike performs well in both high and low revs. In idel position RPM also moves below 1000. it goes to 1000 while cranking self, but after that it slowly moves to 600 RPM like that.... Any suggestions?

    Thank you Guys.

A free flow exhaust will tend to boost the power at high rpm power at the cost of low end.

this is all scientific knowledge, and not practical experience, but installing a narrower exhaust header might allow you to regain some low end torque. Coupled with a free flow muffler after the header should ideally give you the best of both worlds, but there will be a bit of hit and trial involved

The 2 look slightly different, but these are exhaut headers.
Look at the opening on the upper side of each pipe. That is the part that bolts onto the cylinder head.
a narrower section here like the upper pipe should theoretically increase performance at low rpm.
wider section (free flow) would boost top end

at the other end of the pipe (right side) is where the muffler (welded or slip on) would fit

Default DIY drive chain adjustment for Royal Enfield Thunder Bird 350

    Dear Moderators,

Hi am writing and pleading the members to help me and my fellow friends to help us do the DIY of drive chain adjustment of and only Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 - please don't include the drive chain adjustment of other Royal enfield which will not match with Thunderbird .

This thread would be helpful in near future for the owners of RE TB 350 as nowhere - neither in internet / youtube / xbhp / other motorcycle website the procedure has been shown Step by Step for the drive chain adjustment , in manual it is not shown clearly how to move the nut on both the side . So any help will bring lots of love towards this thread and the motorcycle .

    Thank you !

I request for a DIY electric conversion of bikes and scooters here. It would be fun and some people might try it out too.
