    Hello friends,

I decided to try bypassing the battery saving feature. And now the lights and the horn work without having to start the engine.
But I decided to take a cleaner path to do this. I separated the white plug and inserted a bare wire to connect the two pins inside. And I connected the white plug back again.
By doing this we won't have to cut the original wires and lose the warranty.

When the next service is due all I have to do is to remove the bare wire. Leaves no traces of the bypass.
Your bike is a part of you....

I'm sure this would be the most practical NS mod!
What does 11.8 in your console indicate?

That's an omron g8n-1h automotive relay, rated for 30 Amps 14 VDC (continuous) Coil Voltage

    Data sheet https://www.omron.com/ecb/products/pdf/en-g8n.pdf

Just in case anyone wanted to replace a bad one with any generic relay with the above specs. Mine went bad and i was able to break it apart to reveal its model.
Thought someone might find this info useful.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
