Hi Guys.. Yet another try to give life to the dead thread.

I have been off XBHP and my Pulsar 135 for almost 7 Months since I am glued to my New Fiat Punto 90 HP. I am planning to sell the pulsar. Emotionally a tough decision, but I could'nt see the bike parked idle all the weekdays and getting some run ( 10 - 15 kms) on the weekends just for getting some run. Also selling off would get me some Vitamin M. I already have a Star City parked idle for almost same time which is more emotionally attached to me which I would not sell at any cost. So i dont this bike to have the same fate. My 135 LS is 1 Year old and 5500 KMS on the ODO. What would be the best asking price for it ? Could some one shed some light on this.

you could use your bikes for errands or to give your punto some rest ,anyways you have made up your mind i guess.quote anything between 43-47k.

Hey, I sold my P135LS for 45K, and I had an offer for 48.5K, but the buyer wanted it right away, which I couldn't do due to my restrictions. Now my P135LS was 10 months old, with nearly 10k on odo. I bought it in Feb 2010, sold it off in Dec 2010 (fixed deal, actually handed it over on Jan 6th 2011). So, I guess you could safely quote 50K.. I'm sure you will get a deal for 48k.. it's a very good bike, selling quite well in the market and i'm sure it has pretty good resale by this time as it's quite popular.

true that ! but it also depends on the location you are in...48k is a good price to ask for the conditions that you have mentioned....but back here in mumbai i dont think people would pay even 42k..good luck mate !

Default Shell Ultra (10W40) oil in Pulsar 135 LS

Hi Frnz,
I ve filled my bike (pulsar 135ls) with Shell Ultra (10W40) oil.
previously i got too much vibration around (50-55kmph) , but now it is ok.
the problem is i m getting a unusual smell(can't express it clearly !! sorry) from the engine.

will it trouble the engine ?
is the oil which i ve used is ok ?

i ve completed a 100km run after the new oil(shell ultra 10W40) change.
