The service cost isn't exactly cheap compared to Japs and a normal SVC visit shall empty you by $350(approx)

Default have a look at the S

The following photos of the S 1000 RRmay be of interest - I had posted them before but it seems like they are still in the cyber-maze.

@ Prashant. Guess you are back in town. Is that a teaser...

Eagerly waiting for your trip details, pics & ride impressions.
Any idea if BMW is planning to actually launch their bikes in India?

Thumbs up Bmw s1000rr

Just rode it last week. The bike is beautifully smooth with explosive power in the higher rpms.

BMW had organized an event at my local BMW dealer, where they were offering demo rides on all beemers including the RR.

This is the one that I rode:

Demo bikes lined up:

Waiting for the ride to start...

The event also features a stunt show by Chris "Teach" McNeal. He is a BMW sponsered stunt rider who stunts on a RR given to him by BMW.

here doing the popular "pop-the-soda-can".

I'll put nore of his pics & video in a separate thread in the stunters section.

That's his bang-up RR.

That's me with "Teach".

Some more RRs

Now waiting for the magic of Sunny's fingers (with his camera)

That would have been one ballistic experience!!

Would love to hear more about your first expressions about the bike (that would help immensely in maintaining our high octane level (read adrenaline) till Sunny posts his clicks)
