Slingshot XCD
I had booked this bike a month ago.
Initially dealer was telling he will hand over the bike in 15 days. But later he kept on dragging the dates of delivery. So i had to settle for GSR 150, going to get it tomorrow. and attnnn Slingshot prospective buyers wait..... .....I also heard from dealer that shortly a disc/self/visor dressed slingshot(Slingshot XCD) will be introduced @ around 5k more, i think it would be a good package overall.

Shucks
It's really sad when a big company like suzuki spends time, effort and money and can churn out only a mediocre bike like this. Suzuki already has zeus and Heat in this segment so why bother with another bike like this. A name like slingshot would lead people to imagine that the bike will be performance oriented, instead they chose to christen a sloth so. they could have atleast reserved the name for a bigger bike which they might release in the future.Seriously when are they going to enter the 200cc + market?
When I first saw the front number plate I thought it'd slid down from its place. The omission of a front disc brake is shocking. The rear tail light looks like a ****** *****. The frontal view - less said the better. The exhaust looks like it's half done. There's no chrome on the bike at all! I reckon this is a new bike, and the paint on the rear wheel rims are already peeling off. The only decent thing about this is the photography which has clarity and the clear writing which is easy to read. cant believe these guys make the Busa

Slingshot is selling
Hey, but a fairly high number of SlingShots are really selling and getting booked. I eye witnessed it in Jaipur and that too for consecutively two days. I was surprised, that people from from the districts like Sikar (where they do not have Suzuki showrooms) are coming to buy it.
Something must be good about this bike, else its impossible to move splendor lovers, and that too to SlingShot. |
