nice review here, the Paggio LML vespa scooters were at one time country's best scooters, though in numbers- bajaj was leader. but at that time also bajaj copied a few things from them like side stepney in on of the models and bajaj legend model which looked quite similar to this one, which unfortunately was not so successfull.
now-a-days we miss the good old LML vespa....
i have heard somewhere that vespa is again planning to enter indian market, though, i don't remember the exact news...
regarding this scooter, well it performs good, specs are good.
though, i would like a bigger fuel tank (25 kmpl X 9 ltr.s = 225 kms is not a nice range)and double (both side) front fork suspension. i feel single sided is not a good design for either touring or potholes filled roads.
but i am a little bit disappointed with looks, it is too retro in looks, and in india, not many people will be interested in this retro styled gearless scooter.
i personally feel that, it should come with more modern looks with seats that preovide good back support too, i mean stepped seats. should be more modern looking...somewhat like touring scooter. something like this--
well, if this launched in india, i might purchase it and give it to my wife, so that we have a second option available with us for touring except my bike. and i would love to ride it once in a while.
