There is an offer running on pre facelifted RTR180 ABS which are available at a discounted price at TVS showroom in Wakdewadi, Pune. Similar options should be available at other dealerships too. Check it up if anyone is interested. I was offered one today for a 5k discount without haggling.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.

There is no first impressions for the New RTR 180 but I TRed one of them the other day, a longish TR.

I must admit that this was the very first time that I ripped an RTR 180 this much but I was actually impressed by the lack of vibes in the low end, below 6k RPM, it was 95% as smooth as my Pulsar. But as I took it over 7k, towards its 9k redline, it all went downhill. All the things infront of me looked as if they were beetle wings. The reason I am writing this 4 days late, is because, it took me 4 days to figure out what it looked/felt like. I still don't have words to describe the feel of the vibrations, maybe quite close to cellphone vibrator only with more amplitude.

Anyways, the bike was the facelifted model, and almost brand new with the odo showing 227km when I returned it.

Yes you can turn off ABS by pressing it for 3-4 seconds ... if you pressed it for 6 seconds it might reset ABS which is not recommended ...

My friend bought the pre-facelifted version for 89k OTR. This was before the facelifted version was announced.

Nice ride, but if you're expecting it to perform like the ABS found on cars then you're in for a surprise. But when upright, it kicks ass.

Crisply written and nice photographs. The only thing I like about TVS is their headlights, and boy, the the throw of light from their headlights in almost everybike is excellent.

    Cheers!

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END
