Well the whole article looks more like an add for Mahindra and drastically beyond the usual lines of Xbhp marks till date.

And "Self Start" Eureka ...!!!! I thought they are Electric starters!!

Sunil - two pointers. In your comparison chart, new vs old, you have mentioned the power of the new in KW - 6. 6KW is more or less same as 8PS (as u have mentioned for the old one in the chart)
Secondly, as per the chart, the new one adds 9kilos - so any performance gains from the tweaks might have been off-set right with this extra weight, right?

Had a chance to ride this. You can feel a pause in the power delivery if you twist the throttle hard. It requires smooth riding.
