Yeah touring would be wonderful on this rugged machine. But, as Ken has said, this isn't Road Legal. B.I. had profiled quad bikes sometime ago, and IIRC, they said that you couldn't ride these vehicles on public roads. That is the biggest dampener to this wonderful off road/tour prospect. Occasionally, I see a couple of Yamaha quad bikes here in Bangalore, near the Forum mall/Koramangala area on early mornings, when it is too early for the Traffic Mamas to be active

Are they like customs or like something imported from china/thailand?
Coz its very expensive for something like that I think..You could get a proper Yammie or something for that kind of money..

A mail from them

Quote:
Dear Mr.Chaitanya,

Thank you for your email. Glad to hear from biking enthusiasts like you. Please find attached the price list of the 150 and 200 CC ATVs. The 150cc sports is an automatic version and the remaining are all manual 4+1.

ATV 150cc Sports Rs.1,53,450
ATV 200cc Sports Rs.1,65,850
ATV 150cc Utility Rs.1,38,950
ATV 200cc Utility Rs.1,48,200

The prices quoted are inclusive of all taxes, but do not include packing and delivery charges. This usually varies depending on the location of delivery - we can deliver to any place in India.

The difference between utility and sports is only in its body and not the engine... the utility has some small racks attached to it to carry some loads and also the ground clearance is a bit higher. The turning radius is more as well hence the sports model is usually preferred by folks who use it for some serious off-roading.

Please do let me know your contact number so that we can discuss more in detail. Please do not hesitate to contact us as well.

Regards
Ram
This was to my mail ... and a reply from them. But still high prices.
