Thread: FLAG OFF: The Grand Indian Roadtrip - March 11, 2012

As we like to say – it was ‘Great’ in 2006 and will be ‘Grand’ in 2012. The xBhp Grand Indian Roadtrip 2012 is an expression of the passion and the spirit of brotherhood amongst bikers across this great Indian nation. It is an assertion of a collective message of motorcycling being a safe, educative, constructive, socially relevant and fun-filled activity across the barriers of age, gender, education and culture. The six-rider xBhp team shall be circumnavigating the country astride 5 diverse high performance motorcycles and accompanied by a Mercedes Benz SLK 350 sports-car from 11th March to 25th April 2012 starting from Delhi. The ride shall connect not just individual bikers but also motorcycling clubs and groups with each other across the nation. Binding the entire motorcycling fraternity with the common virtues of Unity and Safety, the Grand Indian Roadtrip promises to bring to motorcycling an image as promising and positive as it ought to be. This shall be a personification of the status line – I, the Biker!

As we begin this 50-day long journey, we do need your good wishes. And to send us off please join us during our flag-off ceremony on March 11, 2012, Sunday somewhere in Delhi/NCR. Kindly Be there for an informal get-together and some snacks shared over biker talk.

Like someone asked earlier...what's the plan? Atleast give us some rough one like where you're all riding & where you'll be at tentative dates. Good Luck & Ride Safe people.

Hi Aargee, you are always in a hurry

Just wait for the roadtrip website to be up. Some minor tweaks need to be accommodated before we announce the final route and dates.

For the starters, the trip will begin on March 11 and end somewhere in the latter half of April. We should be hitting Chennai in the first week of April.

I will join till Jaipur . Please share your schedule.

This is all I wanted to know. Its not hurrying up; most of my official works are planned two weeks in advance & my personals 3-4 weeks in advance & I always hate any last minute surprises & changes. So, the sooner I know, the better it gets to schedule.

Please send me the details for the ride from Delhi to Jaipur.. As I need to make it from Agra atleast a night prior.. I've always wanted to do something like this my entire life.. Thanks a ton xBhp.. May the memory last a lifetime..
