  • [Help]: R15 headlights

    Hi guys,

This is my first post . Feel great to join XBHP. Finally in a place where i should be. I possess a pulsar 150dtsi non digital which has been modified with a R15 fairing and painted with KTM orange. Will post the pics soon . I generallytake my bike in the night for long rides. There are a few questions in my mind and surely know they will get answered over here.

    1. Wana change the two 35 w bulbs with two 55w ones, will the 7A battery and the coil of avenger be able to support that
    2. If the above does not work and i change the battery to 9A , then will it support the two 55w bulbs.
    3. Will the combination of one 35w and one 55w bulb be effective, if yes then which company bulb should i use for each. I have heard about philips and osram.

For me the throw and intensity of the beam is very important as i tend to go at speeds above 90 in the night. So guys need your expert advice .please help
