    Karizma: Problem with gear shifting.

    Anyone from Mumbai knows a good mechanic for ZMA? I stay in Dahisar. I am having problems while shifting gears, sometimes it is very hard to shift & sometimes the gear fails to engage. I had reported this problem to HH service center multiple times but looks like those morons don't know how to fix it.

    Steps taken by HH guys so far:
    - changed pressure plates (clutch plates)
    - changed shifter lever..
    - played with clutch adjustment multiple times...

    the problem still persists, so I have decided to consult some good mech for my problem. Please help me guys.

    ZMA R 2009 model. A year old.
    4 services done.
    7000 + kms done so far.

      Take the gear lever out you will see mud deposits on the lever mount just get that cleaned properly your problem will be solved.
      Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

        dont take it outside, Call up the local HH office and lodge a complaint with them, citing all that has been done, and still the issue has not been resolved.

        If you show it to any mech outside, they can void warranty and create further issues.

        BTW - is the gearshifting stuck for all gears? or for any specific gears.

        - Is there a lot of play in the gear lever?

          I don't know how good these people are but you can try them. You can see their details on their website. Seems they are located in borivali. That shouldn't be very far from your place.

            Yes, gearshifting stuck for all gears i mean randomly. No not much play in the lever.
