am now getting to the bottom of this and want to resolve it for sure.
Could the TPS be a reason behind the problem.
Was reading this TPS Switch, and could this be a solution to the problem.

Well well this needs some serious attention..

My 2 cents of advice from my little experience..

Head to Majestic Motors near Minerva Circle & get in touch with Mr. Hadi Hussain ( he is the service manager) this guy is very good & understands in & out of almost all HH bikes.

hi Bro,
In my case AFAIK, the problem can be due to
1.a faulty choke cable
2.a Damaged insulator
3.a malfunctioning TPS or Airscrew...

So i hope by this Tuesday will at least find out the core

What about your DIY work, Did you find anything wrong with the main fold ?

AFAIK,you bike is running lean and the carb has to be tuned well to sort out this problem. First, you are running a free flow filter, next, you havent still tuned your bike's carb. Every time you open and clean the carb, the A/F screw has to be tuned for optimum mixture.

try a couple of things

1)What happens wen you use choke when the bike is idling ( use the choke slowly)
2) try tuning the bike your self. Play with different setting and check.
3) Chuck out the free flow filter and use a stock one or upjet for christ sake
4) check the plugs to find out whether the bike is really running lean
5) check whether the throttle has some free play.

Most importantly, can you really adjust the A/F screw ???

Hi Bro, i can do adjustment in airs crew but most of the time my preference was some experts,

free flow filter was installed before some 7,000 Km, even the problem persist with the stock filter

one thing i would like to know is if the mixture is lean, will the bike touches 140Kmph(speedo read)

Dude am seriously addicted to the K&N and Don't want to remove it i am really happy to go on with the up jetting But the Problem is there is no good Mech here, searching for one good mech to do upjetting but unfortunately i couldn't find one

last week During service mechanic informed me that the spark plug is in good condition and can be retained for another 2 or 3k

Throttle cables was changed before some 12000 kms and there after haven't did any checkups

Vineet, are you running on Free Flow Filter? I did not notice it. In that case, you need to do upjetting and proper tuning. These kind of problems come with all performance airfilters if you do not do upjetting and tuning.

With free flow filter, if you do not do upjetting, even if you tune for rich mixture, the bike will run on lean mixture (now your bike is running on more air and less fuel).

Lightbulb

hello guys...,

Today i was hunting the source of gulping sound, so i removed the seat under cowl and the bend pipe that connects the carb to filter and started inspecting the carb closely

Now i think the sound is not from the carb but from a tube that is connected to the air box (am not 100% sure)

am attaching the pics of the above mentioned tube,

i removed the tube from the air box, inspected it closely and confirmed the sound;

so Guys please help me to find out the tube name and its use

now i just Blocked the one end of the tube that connects the air box and found out a noticeable change,
= After Blocking the tube, bikes RPM increased sudddently from 1500 to 3000 and it was stabilized at that point

= i tuned the idealing screw and kept the RPM back to 1.5k and noticed that the RPM is constant But once accelerated it takes a lot of time to come down and the Gulping sound still persist

=i kept the bike for 5 minutes in ideal RPM and found that there is no Sudden stall of engine and NOW I FEEL SOME IMPROVEMENT IN BIKES CONDITION

=guys am really confused now and eagerly waiting for your replays.......
