Default [Help]: The Carburetor problem on the T'bird Twinspark

Hey guys, its been a long time i came online on Xbhp.

I wanted help regarding the carburetor modification on my Tbird.

The stock carb is the pricol carb which apparently does not let you exploit the full capabilities of the engine.

I was told that fitting a different carb will help.

I was told about the Dellorto phbh 28 carb and the mikuni vm34.

It seems the mikuni is very costly. Does anyone have any idea of the cost of the dellorto and know where I could order one ? I stay in Pune.

Or if the above options are not feasible then what is the other thing that i can do? will upjetting help?

I am also planin on upgrading the exhaust to maybe a goldstar ...

please post your comments .. .thanks

The stock carburettor is not really that bad. maybe you should experiment with upjetting and adding a conical UNI k&N first to see the boost in performance.

I remember upjetting my T-bird ( non twin spark ) and the bike's top speed jumped from 112 to 116-118 kmph. With an improved running throughout the rev range.
