  • [Help]: Suggestion on modifying Pulsar 135 LS

To all Xbhpians, as you all know that Pulsar 135 LS is a diffrent kind of bike all together, with its 4 Valve 135 cc engine, why not try to do some modd and make it more charming and head turning.

I am asking all fellow Xbhpians to give valuable ideas regarding everything that can really be implemented on this bike.

first of all how much money you want to invest upon modifications

than you want a hardcore modifications
or just the light modifications (stikers, horns, headlamps, removing parts) and all

don't remove the mudguard from rear tyre...

I m gonna invest upto 20k rs on modd.

i don't wanna lose the blend of 4 valve.
so keeping in that thing in mind all types of modd suggestions are welcome.

Rear disc brake is a good idea.
I asked the dealer for wider tyres he said it needs to change lot more things to fit wider tyre.

what'll be the cost associated with wider tyres?
what about changinng the body panel? giving it more sporty look....

              Well a 20K is a good Moola......

              Add these things to it....

              Cosmetic Mods

              1 - R15 fairing (duplicate costs 6k)
2 - Rear Seats (not sure you can get this )
3 - Rear Disc Brake (can be done with some 8k)but you have to change the rear alloys
4 - Projector Implementation with HID
5 - Rear Tyre can be changed to a Bigger size and yes even the front for a big bike feel

Thats it the above mods can be done within 20k.,,,,,, or may be some 5 or 10k Higher

              Go for it....

                Well good enough.
but do u think that R15's fairing will cause any kind of engine heating problem?
And if yes then how to avoid it? or go to some other kind of fairing?

Will never ask xbhp to help me!

I m really very disapointed by the fact that no such ideas have been placed.
And I m also quite astonished by the fact that people out here can't even think out of the box..no creativity.
can't even think differently by using huge experinences!!
I was not expecting this to happen.
I m gonna modd my bike by my self and with my ideas. When that'll be completed i'll send pics on a new thread.

I ask Aryan to close this thread without any delay.

Was that a rude reply to the replies what you got??

Sorry if I am going OT but if anyone is not thinking "out of the box", you could have wrote your own ideas so that others can agree/disagree on that.
It takes time for people to look for a thread, think about solutions and then penning it down here.

Regarding modifications : Rear tyre can be increased until it does not hamper the swing arm.
Get HID or Projector lamps, a semi faired version of LS with cowel like ZMA will do.
A rear seat cover like R15 is an option too.

The reason here for less replies is that its not the mod-friendly bike.

P.S : My thoughts should be taken in a positive way

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

OT: Didn't know guests could post here.

Back to the topic. There is a lot of stuff you can do to get more power from your bike. if you plan just cosmetic modifications then you got to think yourself too. P135 riders here hardly have done any mods.

For cosmetic mods a suggestion: Ditch the bikini fairing and go for a nice round headlight. Plonk in a 4300k HID, paint it to matt white color. But I suggest do not waste money on cosmetic mods.

looks a bit odd to me bro. Specially with full fairing & small bikini dairing

If I had the fund & time, I would have been

                              1. Change the footpegs
                              2. Change the console backlight to blue like RTR180
                              3. Change the tyres to Tubeless
                              4. Remove the kick start, it touches my foot when I try to hold the tank with my foots.
                              5. Change the split grab rails, it looks good but less effective
                              6. Installed K&N with upjetting & change the exhaust to that of P220
                              7. Installed NGK Plugs
