Hi XBHPians,

My brother bought & restored a JAWA 6 months before earlier there were no issues now a days started while riding we faced the following problems, friends kindly help me out,

1. Accelerator got stuck up in the risen state itself, sometimes while riding it pulled fastly threatned him twice. When checked with local mechanics different opinions came not sure what to follow.(Like Change the handle bar as it is bent, carburator cup is new so the spring doesnt have smooth friction) Already change the cable twice.
2. Petrol was leaking once it is ON position after few kicks while starting itslelf started pouring below the engine as if connected directly to the outlet
3. There was a kind of heavy wobbling while riding in low rpms
4. Back wheel was not in balanced state, while riding itself can feel its shaking. Mech asked to changed te tyres.


PS: I'm an amatuer in biking any info would be helpful, bike is now in coimbatore.

Though they're based out of Chennai, they've friends & contacts of clubs at Coimbatore. Another best person who might help you here is powertwin or SandeepRam.

the problems that you are facing are small.. Call Srini in roaring riders, you can also contact him here on xbhp. there is a yezdi thread,

you have problem with your carb and the rims.. Speak to him and you should be sorted, you can also give him my reference (Devang Rachh from mumbai). Cheerss and happy riding.

bike is with my brother in coimbatore...i'm out of station also unable to look after it regularly so gave it to my bro for time being.....he was yet to find a jawa mechanic there...as the bike arrived last week only.....thats sought help from you ppl......he is in coimbatore will ask him to get in touch with you sir.....thnks for your support

Looks like your carb is not good. That might be the reason for all these. THis might be a problem with the card or the throttle assembly. Need to analyse the problem.
