This is the first time i am writing on XBhp. I was in an urge to know how exactly does a custom CDI help the bike in performance. Is it in the topend speed section or the BHP section?

Even though I'm a big time fairing lover, i got pasted on the 200NS with the awesome specs. I have saw the bike, sat on it and waiting for test drive on monday and will book probably on the same day (waiting for my dad's pocket to be tared)

Just because, I need to get all the money from my father, I need to clarify a fre things before giving him a final brochure (He throws a reply "They say Platina gives good mileage" and then i throw a look "Shut-up")

I have listed a few questions and please share if you've additional details as well.

    1. Heard that the tires are bad (Yeah I know, I cannot get everything at this price), what tires are preferable? ( I ride 50 Kms up and 50 kms down per day with / w/o pillioner 70% highway + 30% Traffic, love cornering as well )

Tyres arent that bad. Decent Grip in fry, Chalebul in wet. I Switched to Michelin Pilot Sporty, Front is 100/80 - Rs1400, Rear is 120/80 - Rs2800.
    Couldnt Find 130mm rear.

    Front as well as back

    2. What gears will look appealing to the macho bike? (For god sake, please tell me a matching helmet)

Choose what looks good on you. Matching colour helmets are there from almost all manufacturers.

    3. I prefer the gear and brake levers to be in front as i prefer that riding posture, is it modifiable?

No. The position is locked. The angle can be changed.

    4. The horn is really bad, and i need to get a new one and also a remote control, Is there space for another battery inside?

No need for an extra battery. I removed the syock single one and added RTR dual ones. Why do you need a remote? Its ****ing useless.
Hope this thread will be approved, Please move in-case

Stock CDI is not programmable (adjustable) where racing CDI units can have the engine performance adjusted for track conditions. Racing units have the electronic components that refresh and cycle faster to allow more revs.

A motor that has been extensively increased in performance with compression increase, fast cams, lightened inertial parts, much improved exhaust, etc the racing CDI might be of benefit to increase power and the ability of the motor to rev harder.

Not recommended unless you have forged pistons, may damage the engine in the longer run.

Most of the frame sliders available for the KTM Dukes 200/390 use the same engine mount and hence can be easily installed.

Search on ebay or google it up for Crash bobbins.

Don't go for cheap ones, they might surprise you when you are not in for one. Go for either good quality ones, or just buy the stock Bajaj.
