hey guys there was a some fault in meter wiring in my p150 UG 4 model because of which bcu was damaged while repairing..
so my local MEC. had changed
• LH RH switches
by the way my self was not working, even after changing the switches and bcu
after few days current was lost,
then he changed
bt approx 200 km chalaye hoge,,
*then one point of the head light was fused,, so i changed it,, the very next day that too fused. as well as the light of the switches were stop working ,,
then i have too give the bike at the bajaj service centre because suddenly the current was lost again,, there MEC. checked the bike and told that the regulator is not working as well as the battery (new)drained,,
so i got it charged, but as he going to put both the wires, fuse u detoriated
so he removed the fuse and started fitting it directly (ignition switch was left on)
and bcu spoiled again.
then i took the bike and showed it to the local mechanic, he found that the coil was damaged, somehow he managed to correct it and started the bike
now i am at the Same situation, i am riding it without bcu
i am fed up with it electrical fault and don't no what should i do,,* what is the main fault? is it wiring, coil or something else
the MEC at service centre suggested me to upgrade it to ug 5, which will cost me around 3500.
• wiring 2000
• switches 1500
my local MEC. have suggested me to downgrade it, for which he is asking me 3700 plus all the part whatever i have changed earlier.,,... which cost me around 3380 ( bcu and wiring cost not included)
which one will be the better option whether to upgrade or downgrade it.
plz suggest me guys
one more thing i want to ask that whether the ug 5 model wiring is magnetic??? if i upgrade it and due to some reason wiring got damage, can it be repaired or i have to change the wiring?
