richard, in all gears?
With all the threads you seem to be opening about your pulsie s probs, i think you should be thinking of getting another bike, no offense, i know exactly what you are going through. Is it just hiss, or roar too?

@need4torque - it comes even in neutral..if you rev the bike upto 4k...the sound is like the sound you get from a tube light...
![]() i am trying to do most of the stuff on my bike myself kindof like a personal restoration project...need a new bike but there are way too many memories attached to this v1..so no plans in selling it anytime soon.. ![]() @MavericK46 - it can even be heard when the bike is stationary

Looks like some fastener somewhere is loose. I had similar issues on my V1 and after quite a bit of investigation, realised it was coming from a screw in the helmet lock
![]() Mechanically, it could be a few things, hard to easily identify it. Try to get the tappets adjusted, that could be an easy solution. And I know how difficult it is to get rid of a V1. It's a one of a kind Pulsar in the 180cc's. I will never get rid of it myself
