Need info about state registration!!!

    Need info about state registration!!!

    Hi All,
    i am Dr.Vivek Mukherjee, an av-aid biker who loves 2 wheeled machines. i cannot live without a single day thinking about them.my this love to machines started when i was studyin my mbbs in manipal medical collage in sikkim. i took the my first ever bike a red pulsar 180 dtsi alloys back then in 2005.i used it for my daily commute and also for tours around sikkim and north bengal.i fell in love with the machine and i still own it.
    now after finishing my studies i came back to my home town Burdwan ,westbengal. i took the noc from the sikkim rto office and now i changed my registration under west bengal and i paid one time 4500 rs to westbengal rto as for its road tax.i didnt mind to pay as when i was in sikkim i was giving annual 350 rs as road tax to sikkim rto dept.they (sikkim rto) still take annual road tax not life time tax.

    now i am planning to do my postgraduate studies from pune maharashtra . its a 3 year course,and i will be taking my bike with me there and after my finishing of the course i will return home in burdwan westbengal.

    my questions are........

    1.Do i need to again re registar my bike when i take it there ?
    2.If yes then how guys travel all over india with bikes with vehicle registered in a single state.
    3.if yes what i have to do when come back home again after 3 yrs,again re register in west bengal.

    Please guys help me out.really need your help.

      Non of them.
      Well just get one NOC from ur current RTO for riding or using the bike in Pune or in MAHARASHTRA STATE, also note that get it for 3yrs. So they will issue NOC, valid for 3yrs or so. Otherwise u don't need to do ne thing else. Talk to ur RTO agent he will guide u properly in that. IF u want i can also confirm from my agent
      Not a big deal riging the bike in Mahrashtra from another state if u have NOC for dat.

        Thank you for a quick reply.i am plannig to go to pimpri pune. now noc for what exactly? i took a noc for address change from sikkim when i came back from there. you r talking about which noc? any form number? please help me. sorry if i sound stupid in any case,have really a smaal knowledge in this case. help please.

          another thing .if my papers are all ok for my state is it illegal if i use my bike in pune for three years and just carry my original papers for my state.

          i know in our driving licence we are lincenced to drive all over india. is it same with vehicles or is it different?.

          if not please help me with details.

            This is diff. NOC. it is for to get d permission from ur LOCAL RTO to ride ur bike in Mahjarashtra for 3yrs. I will let u know the number of form or else u can check with ur RTO. coz u have to get this NOC from ur LOCAL RTO not from Pune. But for more details I will either check
