If u ride and take care properly, u ll get 40+. Only chain needs care apart from routine maintenance. Need to lube once in a while. You can use normal gear oil though they recommend spray, which is uneconomical. You won't get satisfactory care from Authorized Service Center (no brands now a day give 100% customer satisfaction).
hi aadi.... FZ doesnt require any maintenance as long as you are sticking to its service schedule.... fz is totally worth buying as the apache has some serious vibration problems and the pulsars are way too common.... I think fz if maintained properly can easily survive for 8-10 years.... and currently my bike is giving me a mileage of 40kmpl with a part ripping business....
the FZ engine is more durable and reliable. it will surely last you 5+ years. expect a mileage of between 38-42kmpl if driven carefully. You need to maintain and check tyre pressures regularly in the FZ. the mileage can be better also.
Under mixed riding conditions the bike returns 40-45kmpl. Maintenance cost is negligible other than the servicing charges (which would be applied after your free services are over). A bike good for you or not depends on your needs. Test ride the bike.
Nothing special. Only routine maintenance and proper riding style. Right shifts, proper speeds, etc are key factors in getting good mileage. Proper run-in also must. No one can resist ripping an FZ Run under 5k rpm and you'll get good mileage figures.
