Question: How many times can someone claim insurance on a particular part? Any idea? - Any number of times per year provided the claim charges is paid

Have a fight to put up - Will get you no where

Did you ask why the amount was brought down from 95 to 85? What's the reason? Is it the first year of insurance or second or third?

If you don't trust the ASC, wait until you get the bike back, write strong word email to customer service

Hope you're safe & there's nothing to worry

Unless there's another person involved & he's threatening or any FIR is filed...absolutely nothing to worry to claim on insurance

Well...remember that insurance guys try to fix more parts that causes less damage to them while you know how dealer fixes things. Unless you're a good friend with the insurance guy personally, you can't do much about things.

They take pic of the bike, dealer gives an estimate of what's to be replaced, what's to to be fixed, insurance company says what they approve, what they can't; whatever is approved dealer fixes it, whatever isn't, should be borne by you. If you don't dealer doesn't give you vehicle & the tug of war starts 3 way.

    Its a good practise.

    The theory is this.
Most of the metalic shaving is done in the early 100-200KMs.. these shavings can damage the oil filter (not saying that they WILL damage, but can damage the filter) which is why the manual recommends changing the oil and filter in the first service.
Now would you want these impurities to remain in the oil from 200KMs to 1000KMs and risk the shavings causing more bedding in than it ideally should. Your call?

Do remember to clean the chain before lbing it... all these are early day niggles. Happens with all the bikes... its not the dealers delivering it unclean, its a normal occurance..

Yes. Open the tank lid and close it.
Its basically the fuel vapours making the whistling sound as it tries to escape.

The Khrrrr sound could be from chain. Lube it well, and adjust its slack. If the sound remains, Get the front sprocket off and flip it and put it the other way around.

The brake sound is because of dirt on the pad... bleed the lines or clean it with soap water and then water (DO NOT USE ANY OIL ON THE DISC)
