Partho's ID is Pads. If you want some 150odd ml of 5100, you can pick up my can lying at Shrinath's. It has been used for topping up earlier.. But since I am no longer use 5100, feel free to use. What oils were you planning on mixing?

And.. I won't be joining you guys for Lavasa since I currently am in Nasik.

Hello again! just realized i don't remember what partho's ID is.. need to contact him for some info related to engine oils.. no 5100 stock with any dealer.. you have any ideas apart from mixing oils (which i'm thinking of doing)?

Also, eshan and i were planning to go on a night run to lavasa this weekend. Plan's not completely materialized but are you in in case we end up going?

i dont have the manual at hand... but yes there is aa wire mesh bazed oil 'strainer' not 'filter'. It has to be cleaned and replaced periodically as per mentioned in the manual

Where is the oil filter on a 220?? Someone said there's no oil filter just a mesh sort of thing. Even the manual doesn't mention it but pretty much every other bike has an oil filter which has to be changed at regular intervals..
Any ideas?

The SAE90 oil can be found at any TDH engine oil shop in the city. I bought mine from Nasik.. dunno about Pune. As for the TVS chain lube, got that from TVS SVC at Satara road (near City Pride). You have to enter a compound to your left when coming from City pride towards Swargate. The entrance is 200m ahead of the City pride signal. Ask around a bit, and you should find it easily.
