    yes the oil cooler should not be washed with high pressure water as the fins can bend because of this and resulting in poor cooling.

    better to avoid cleaning yourself, it is done at service, but if you still want to do so then cover the cooler by thick plastic polythene or bag and wash the remaining bike.
