can i mix these and use ?

NEVER mix two grades of oil. Just flush the earlier engine oil and only then re-fill with 'new', 'fresh' engine oil, Anant!

hey.Had asked a friend to pick up a can of Motul 300V.Didnt know that they make 10W40 too.so is it ok to mix my left over 15w50 with this and use it ?

Hi Anant, first off since you haven't ever used a D-SLR, I would suggest you try your hands on one, before getting one yourself. That ways, you would atleast get comfortable.

As for your budget, it is good enough to get you a Canon EOS 1000D, which is a brilliant piece of equipment in that price bracket.
