Trust me Ken da, you have more knowledge I've read your pieces on the site. I have checked out the site, not in detail though. I will do that once the hectic hassles of moving cities is done with!

Well! If you insist. I think that the person with more knowledge takes seniority! Btw, did you check out thephotographer.in If you are interested in photography, maybe you and "us" can hit off finely there!

Besides, I'm only 22! You have more years of riding under your belt and that takes seniority, period!

Haha! You flatter me. Those bikes were used only for commuting short distances within the city and a few occasional highway rides. Besides, I never mastered the art of leaning, nor do I know as much as you about operation and maintenance! Trust me, I was a very stupid kid with too much on his hands. Until I came to India, I couldn't tell you the difference between a carburetor and a piston! Couldn't even change my own engine oil or clean my air filter! 100% mechanic-dependent, it's only in the past 3 years that I've become more knowledgable but still a long way to go. Now in 2010 I have plans to buy a GSX-R (if it launches) or a Fireblade.

I'd be more than happy to have an experienced biker like yourself along to check out the bike throughout the process. Perhaps you could even stop me from making a few mistakes! I spent the first 18 years of my life in the US, my dad rode a 2004 Rocket III and before that, a 97 Harley Dyna Glide. I myself had a Ninja 650 for 1 year and a Ducati Monster for another 10 months.

Sure. Do that! Though if you do not mind, I would like to see how you plan out your venture. Coz I am interested to see what you do.

Your dad had a Harley!!! Wow! Which one?

It's possible I think. My dad's Harley used to have a PC tank with airbrush graphics and even in the humid summer there was no distortion in the coat. I think I'll speak to KRP guys directly and go with what they suggest.

Ok! Now your question was if you want PC on your plastics and tank as well... How does PC on plastics look? And can one do PC on plastics in the first place?

Quite simple really, I just want my tank, cowls, and front mudguard painted or powder coated gloss/matt black! Getting PC on the engine in black, and the wheels in white. Then I need to find some low-profile tyres for the 18" rear rim.
