Hey Ceaser, the tuning of the bike has to be felt in order to say if the tuning is optimum/ rich/ lean, its difficult to judge from here.
However, from ur explanation, i feel its on the richer side. If a bike is running richer then it shows qualities u have explained, the initial pickup will be very good backed by good thump, but you'll loose out on the top end and also mileage. Try making it a bit leaner, ride it for sometime and again repeat if any adjustments are required. The acceleration has to be crisp through out the rev range, Just blip the throttle at neutral multiple times and the rpm has to come back from high to low soon, if it climbs sharp and takes time to come down then the mixture is lean. If the beat is thumpy then its rich.
Also Always tune your engine when its warm, your increased idling says that u have tuned the engine when it wasnt at optimum temperature. Always ride atleast for 15kms with more than 4k rpm before tuning. Thats what i follow, Hope this helps! -
