I use a paint protection film and cut them into small pieces and stick them on the scratch prone areas...I am not sure where you find them in India. The best is to order them online from the US.

chetan here from bangalore..
i ride RTR 160, n a month back i got cramster bonic knee gaurds. but sadly those r scratching my tank on both sides..
heard that u told solution for similar prob like lamination for tank... can u pls share it with me.. or give link to ur posts..
