    Cool!

Just one thing, the overall scene would be the same here. In Mumbai its less people, lesser openings.......here in bangy its like...slightly more openings and slightly more people!

Anyways, its a fight....ATB in advance!

    Hey dude!

    So you have three choices...
    1. Stock - You are well aware of its limits and capabilites, so I need not saw anything about it.

    2. R15 80/90 - The rubber is relatively more sticky, but the reduced width means reduced grip in not so good roads. For super smooth tarmac straightline grip would be the same, only a little more better around corner because its softer. The reduced width will also mean the bike will become more flickable, another way of looking at it would be that the bike will be more 'twitchy' which is not such a good thing at times.
Next, issue with this tyre is that the profile will reduce by about 9mm, so expect speedo/odo reads to go for a toss, you will not be able calculate mileage accurately.

    3. FZ 100/80 Tire - This is not as soft as the R15, but still softer than the stock, so grip levels definitely increase. Straightline/Corner grip will be better than stock too. But the 10mm increase in width will also mean that it will be a bit more harder to turn the bike, but no by so much of a margin that you have shoulder aches. The profile would reduce only by 1mm so there will just a be minute variation in speedo/odo readings!

IMO, if you are bored with the stock front.....the FZ tyre is best choice for you! Unless you want to explore other brands like IRC,etc!

    Hi Praful,

Could you advice me on the tyre that I should be thinking of for my bike (the front wheel) other than the stock one??

Currently I have R15's front or rear tyre or FZ's front tyre (rear wont fit ever ) on my mind, and more inclined towards FZ's front, would it be too much for the P220?

And also.... do you recommend the stock tyre as a replacement? Reasons?? Let me know.

    Chetan
