    you can say. Liner means cylinder sleeve. Due to high friction n loss of smoothness piston moves very hard way so idle can get kill coz of that. It is for safer side to check the block piston coz I feel there is nothing wrong with ECU/ECM. The given parameters of fueling through the injection can be change only if you tinker the internal EPROM. And I don't think you have tried out any thing touching the ECU/ECM of you bike. If you want to check the block primary way then open the plug and use high luminus torch to see inner side of the barrel. LEt me know....

    lining in the inner surface means in the inner circumference of the cylinder i guess... right..?

    ur RTR issue:- I think u should ask them to check compression. Then ask them to check the block piston. If the Idle is stalling then I feel that block has got lining mark on the inner surface.
