i see that you are coming from coimbatore to banglore for the independence day ride. How many hours will it take to come to banglore? and which route are you taking? I am planning to go to Trichur from banglore via coimbatore. I need to know the route properly as this is the first time.... any help/advice/suggestions would be welcome...

The guy will check the voltage of the battery. He will also check it under load. If it shows less than normal, its defective.

Starting the bike with h/l ON means that starter may not get full power. No other harmful effects as such. Your loads are OK. Amarons are lately known for being defective. Try and replace it. If the new battery too does not work, check your wirings. Also are the batt terminals clean?
