Cant say about warranty but u can always get the relay removed if you want to be safe while claiming warranty as you dont have to cut any wires while installing the relay. also there is a srew inside the fairing near the headlamp cable. adjust it to point the bulb to the ground. when i got my bike the high beam was pointing towards the sky. just adjusting level of the bulb properly will improve the lighting.
