i did not polish it much,only abt 1mm i guess because if u go for serious polishing,u should rework ur carb with a bit bigger main jet (which i could not find in hyd)..
porting was not at all done as i did not trust the mech's... i opened the head,replaced the piston rings,replace the valves (valve's lapped),head polished a bit,kept it all back... the improvements - no knocking in 2nd at low rpm's,very responsive engine,much free revving.... cost ~ 1.5k including every thing.

Dude youv'e done porting and polishing on your uni.. How is it performing, how much of performance gain have you got ? Do tell me cause i too wanna get it done on my uni. Do tell me the expense too.
