    Hey, This is Thilak. I got your message regarding route information. Unfortunately, I couldn't reply cause I ran out of credit and I'm roaming in Maharastra right now. Anyways, coming back to the point.

    I rode down the same route last month. Just take the NH8 from Pune. It runs all the way till Bangalore. Awesome roads, absolutely nothing to worry about. A small stretch near Hubli is two lane, rest of the NH8 is either 6 or 4 lanes.

    But make sure you cover Hubli to Bangalore stretch during day time cause you'll encounter a lot of traffic from Mine trucks headed towards Karwar via Hubli at night.

    Fuel stations are easy to find, but most of them don't accept card. ATMs are really hard to find as NH8 doesn't pass through any of the major towns.
