    Hello,
For starters fz28 is no longer available, though you can find quite a few of them around mumbai, my friends too were against buying a panasonic, but i wasn't gonna give up after a month of researching. In few words, go for Canon if you have the budget, go for Nikon if you want features (unusable long-end tele), go for Panasonic if you want a mixture of both!

Well let me tell you from a novice's perspective. The Fz28 isnt an easy point and shoot camera. You will have to fiddle around with the settings to get the shot right. If your priority is only 'people shooting' then stay away from this camera. Get the Nikon or Canon with a decent pair of lenses. If you want good looking landscape shots then go for the Fz28. By the way,I heard the Fz28 has been discontinued. So you might wanna rethink. And 24k is a bit steep.

Hey, The FZ28 is one amazing camera - But now the prodution is stopped.. It is replaced by FZ35 - The ergonomics are the same, So its still the plastic feel for you - But it was comfy on my hands..

Last i saw the price for 21k here in Chennai.. If you dont like FZ35 - go for SX10.. Or If a Nikon Fan go for P90..

Having said all that, I lost my cam few months back and got a DSLR last night..

    Hey there Georgy !

    Thanks for your comments.
-I fully agree with you on the K'zma Engine Cover Issue,
But Sirji that piece of Plastic does some Great Jobs as well,
Like it helps in the overall engine coolling ,
& also it adds tons of Head Turning Looks,
Also it prevents the body from mud & dirt (upto some extent).
-The disk plate I added Just for Modernising the Looks.

-Lastly, THANKS again for you comments !

    Take Care,
    The Doctor
